Com-mu-ni-ca'-tion

The transmission of information via any number of means, including but not limited to: speech, mail, print, telephone, television, Internet. The technique of using words and pictures to impart information and ideas.
CaveFrom cave drawings to computers and everything in be-tween, mankind has communicated ideas and information over some medium. Over the millennia, with every advance in technology, however small, our methods of communication advanced.

In ages past, our communication with others was very localized. It was limited to our community. As man conquered land, sea and air, communication with the outside world spread. With each advance, our world became a little smaller.

At the end of the 20th century, a technology spawning a whole new realm of communication was developed - the World Wide Web. The Internet shrunk our world in an unprecedented way. It changed our commerce, our understanding, our lingo. It permeated every facet of our lives. People from every corner of the globe could buy, be informed and entertained in real time.

This web site is about communication - words and pictures. Rather than caves and couriers, our present world relies on the print medium - brochures, newsletters and flyers.  Instead of smoke signals and drum beats, we broadcast our message electronically including the Internet.  But, as in the past, we still employ pictures and graphics to spread our message.
